First period after mmc

So, about 5 weeks after my erpc following a missed miscarriage I got what I thought was my period, this has been going on for a week now. I haven't had any constant red blood but more brown discharge. It's always there when I wipe and boy a tiny bit comes out on a panty liner once a day, sometimes not even that. I don't know if this is my period?!
Sometimes I think it's stopped as there is nothing, then later in the evening it comes back. Anyone had anything similar that could advise?

This is happening me to today - 25 days after d&c and brown with occasional red for 2 days.

I wonder if it's because our lining was thinned out considerably during the process - I know I definitely did not ovulate this cycle.
