First proper period since ectopic.. Ouch!

Hey ladies. So I guess for me today is bittersweet. My first proper period since having treatment for my ectopic pregnancy in July. I did have a "period" after my hcg dropped to zero but this is something else!!! I'm in absolute searing agony! The consultant had advised me the my first proper period would perhaps be "out of the ordinary" but nothing prepared me for this! Anyhow back to the bittersweet part.. I'm glad my period is here cause it means I only have to have one more proper period then I can try again.. But of course I'm sad cause it reminds me that I should have a scan photo in my handbag by now- not a packet of body form. xxx
