First Scan Today - 6w3d

So ridiculously nervous for this appointment... hubby is going with me and is very excited, but I've worked so hard to not get my hopes up. I so badly want this appointment to go well, and I am quite honestly terrified of any bad news! Having my DH there will be helpful, but I'm also afraid that I'll feel like a failure or an idiot if the scan isn't promising.

Ahhhhhh. Another 1.5 hours before the appointment. Any encouraging words of personal stories would be much appreciated!

I had my first scan yesterday at 6+1, we saw little squishy with a heartbeat but the heartbeat might not always been seen in week 6 sometimes it doesn't appear til closer to 8 xx

We had an early scan at 6w exactly - saw gestational sac and yolk sac only... I was a wreck until our 7 w scan - saw the heartbeat!! So don't worry too much if you don't see a heartbeat.... Sometimes it's jut too early.

Hun I know exactly how you feel I'm just back from mine at 6+3 and we saw the yolk and baby and the tiny heartbeat. I was so nervous but as soon as you see baby nothing else mAtters.

Everything went great! Little nugget is right on schedule, measuring 6w3d and a confirmed due date of July 5th. Little heart rate is 150 bpm 12 week ultrasound is scheduled for December 20th.
