Hi I was just looking up on the best way to conceive and found this site. Me and my partner have just started trying this mounth but I am worred about how long it is going to take as I am 26 and he is 46 and I keep reading things that say it could take years. I dont no how I am going to feel if that is the case. Is any one else in the same place?

Welcome Becka! I'm not in the same place (I'm 29 and DH is 31), but I want to reasure you, while it *can* take years, for most couples it only takes a matter of months. Some even get their BFP on the first go. The best way to conceive is to relax and enjoy the time with your partner. If you want to feel you have a bit more control over the process, you can start charting your cycles and figuring out when you ovulate, but even that isn't necessary for a lot of couples who have sex regularly (3-4 times/week).

Good luck to you, and LOTS of baby dust!!! :dust:

I am charting my cycle and ovulation date Im in the days now. 3-4 times a week thats a lot LOL we are going to have fun trying. I think its scary because its my first month trying and I am a inpatient person.

if you have no knowlage of any prev problems then you should be fine. young women are the most fertile :) and luckily men can have kids up till the end, they dont have a cut of like us (damn menapause) so fx for you it shouldnt take years. xxxx oh and welcome btw :)
