First time Section (TWINS)

Just a few questions. I know theyre probably already being asked but could be soon as friday i get a section due to the smaller twin not growing last 2 weeks
How long are you usually in hospital afterwards? If breastfeeding.
also have a 2.5 yr old so dont want to be leaving him too long
anything i should have in my hospital bag? I packed it few weeks ago thinking i was going to be having a normal delivery, so dont know is there anything extra you need after having a section ? So scared

i had am emergency section. i was in hospiral for 36 hours. was very keen to go home and they were happy to let me go. i was breastfeeding although it did not work out for me and i had to start with bottles within a few days. for your hospital take big granny knickers which sit high up your tummy as you wont want a knicker elastic anywhere near your incision. same with clothing... either dresses or high waisted lose trousers. good luck x

You are already farther along than I got with my girls, and they did beautifully! Take a deep breath, Mama, and be happy you have made it this far!
I am in the US so it's a different thing here- I was in for 5 days (Usually 3 for a section but I had complications due to another medical issue) but my girls stayed in for 4 weeks- so I was there every day to BF and pump-- plus would pump on schedule all night long and take it in with me- (Or hubby would run it up in the middle of the night if they needed it bless that man!)
