first TWW after Mirena removal

First month TTC, I had no idea there would be so much waiting involved!

I had Mirena for 3 years and no periods, just the occasional random spotting that I never bothered to track. Had it yanked 1/7, positive ov test 2/2, and now I'm twiddling my thumbs.

I seriously doubt anything will come of it, since the OBGYN said it usually takes about 3 months for things to get going again... but if I'm in for more "hurry up and wait" this is going to be a blast, LOL.

LOl! Welcome to the two week wait! The first few are always the hardest! They do get a little easier with time though

Hello! I was a Mirena user, as well, but my circumstances were so wonky that I can't offer you any input or advice.

The only thing that can cause a longer wait with Mirena removal is that your lining may need an extra cycle to build up to an adequate thickness. Generally, though, you are considered good to go as soon as it's gone.

You should be ready for a test within a couple of days!
