hi guys! im pretty new to the forum. i already have a beautiful baby girl who is one year old. dh and i are ttc our second.
This is our first month of trying after using condoms since our daughter was born. As we didnt plan our first im pretty new ot all this ttc. Ive never really paid much attention to legnth of my cycle or temping ov days etc . so am totally confused ! first day of last period was 19th may 2010 and my periods have always been pretty regular and average 28-30 day cycle. have tried looking at ovulation calculators etc but am a bit confuzzled by it all tbh! we have bd'd every other day since end of af so am just gonna wait n see what happens really! with my first preg didnt have any symptoms until i was 4 months so wondered if anyone had any ideas when would be best to test? dont want to get hopes up , and tbh am not expecting anything to have worked first go! and advice is most welcome about the who ttc buisness! thanks and good luck to all!!! x

My cycle appears to be following a similar pattern to yours so I would estimate your ovulation for this month would be at the end of June? Best of luck with trying for your second!

Thanks!! will just have to wait and see . Although feeling very like AF coming had cramps and sore feeling yesterday and thismorning no sore boobs tho which is strange! anyway will keep posted! x

It helps to read threads on here and research on the internet. From there I learnt ovulation times, signs, cycle lengths etc.
Before, as I was always averaging 26-32 days, i just went with the flow..........so to speak. Now I make a note of the days.

The first day of period is always CD1. Wait until CD12 and start testing or looking for ovulation signs, record these signs, you will get a surge at some point. Make sure you bd as much as you can while waiting and ovulating. Then when you think you have detected ovulation with an opk test, you can estimate 14 days until af is due.
Takes some getting used too.

My advice, record everything, it helps in future cycles. Like symptoms, headaches, pains, cm etc. It helps to track differences.
