First Ultrasound!!! 8wks

YAY! We had our first appt today and it turns out that I ovulated a LOT later than we all had thought. I am actually 4 days behind, so I'm only 8 wks, 3 days instead of 9 weeks. I'm due on June 6, 2008! Baby looked good (so says the doc, looks like a blob to me) and the heart sounded SO COOL! 178 beats a minute! I got to see the heart beating! Sadly, I don't get another ultrasound until I'm 20 weeks...but we'll get to know the sex then! SO...without further ado...our blob!

Awww PBM, I'm happy for you! I'm glad everything looks good.
Its so neat to see them so little in there, its crazy to think just 8 weeks ago he/she was a cell.

Aww thats amazing... Im due either on the same day as you, or 2 days after (I can't remember anymore!) so thats probably what my junior looks like too!

I'm in the same boat. I had my last ultrasound at 8 weeks and I wont have another for a few more weeks. I'm excited though because the baby will look so different.

I'm quite jealous. On my 5, 7 and 8 week scans they wouldn't let me have a picture ! "They're just measurement scans," was what I was told. Congrats & stuff though

I still have my 12 week one because I wasn't given my due date. I worked it out from the doctor telling me I was exactly 8weeks pregnant. I have a midwife appt next week. I'm excited although people have been telling me the first meeting is boring
