First Ultrasound.....

Saw my beautiful baby for the first time yesterday during the anatomy scan. MW wanted to make sure things were alright after measuring 8 weeks ahead at our last appt.

Sure enough, everything looks great and the tech was able to do a complete anatomy scan at 18 weeks and says baby and amniotic sac are measuring point on.

It just warmed my heart to see what my own body has created with the help of my DH in the last 16 weeks. The entire complex structure of the human anatomy near perfect in just that time. Very moving and powerful. Teared up a bit looking at its little heart pattering away in there. BPM was 152!

Truly they are. I feel so blessed every day to have the opportunity to nurture life in my body eventually for it to be on its own, thinking and feeling the world around us. We are very happy for our little treasure

I get giggly and happy every time I think about the baby inside me. Can't to meet it and kiss its whole body
