DD is 14 months and has about 13-15 words, some of which she says quite a bit and some only once or twice. Of these words a lot seem to begin with b - ball, bear, brush, baby, bubbles, bath, bye, boo etc. She always babbled bababa a lot and I gather ba is an easier sound for them to make, I'm just wondering if you other lovely mummies found the same.? She does say other words with different sounds (duck, dog, teddy etc) so I'm not worried, just curious.

Yes! Other than Mum and Dad, Ethans first words were clock, cat, and clap.

This hasn't been the case for Ciara so far. Words we've heard are Gone, Daddy, Pidgeon, Penguin, Chicken, Teddy, Birdie and Keys. A right strange mixture :-)

We have Hello, Della, Ella, Hiya, Mama, Dada, Nana, Nay Nay (my niece is called Lenay), Oh No, Oh Dear, Ohhhh, More.... I can't think of anymore actually but I'm sure there is a couple, none of them seem to have the same sounds though lol

Ha! Most of my daughter's words start with "B" too! Bubbles, Booboo (the dog), buh-bye, buckle...

My LO seems to like T words. She says there, this and that and tries to say T sounds a lot. She does however say baby, hiya and bye bye but this is the extent of her vocabulary at the moment. So its a bit of a mix.

Yep, we have lots of B words here, bye bye, bear, ball, broom broom (car lol), but we have up, mummy, dada, apple and randomly door too.

Yup, 'C' words for us cat, car, clock...
