DS recently started making a face which I now call his fish face. He basically closes his eyes really tight, puckers his lips and makes a moaning sound (almost like a cow) while exhaling through his nose. It's really adorable, but not sure why he does it. I thought he was just being silly at first (maybe mimicing something he had seen me do), but I'm wondering if there's a reason for it...like the tooth that is poking through is causing some discomfort so he makes a face. Anybody else have a LO that does this?

Both mine do it. And if I say to my 11 month old where's that funny face, he does it x

Initially the first thing that came to mind when I read your title was that it could be teething related so I would say that could have something to do with it.

My new born does this... After a feed or after I settle him.... I call em kissy lips lol he puckers up and sighs like a relief sigh lol

No idea why but its adorable as hell :)

Jordan has been making a face - and although it sounds different from your lo's. Its with her mouth... And I'm certain it's teething related. She is getting her molars and this started right when they started actually poking through.

Thanks ladies! I'm guessing then that it is teething related as it started right around the time when his first tooth was poking through. It is SO CUTE! :)
