fish fingers

going to make them for Hannah tonight. Anyone have a quick, simple recipe??

im making these tonight too

you can either...

blend bread into breadcrumbs, cut your fish into strips, dip in plain flour then egg then the breadcrumbs, bake in oven for 15-20mins

or

mix together flour and sparkling water into a thick 'batter' dip in the sliced fish then shallow fry until golden

I buy the packet of fish fingers, but my boy won't eat them

i always use the first one for the kids and i use the second one for making fish n chips for me and hubby!

Oh thats a good idea to make your own! (always worry the shop brought ones are too high in salt, fat etc)

well she seemed to like it though with the new texture she gagged a bit. Ate that over her potatoes though Think I'll do the same with some chicken in a few days

we do it with chicken and make mini fajitas for the kids! rhys loves them and ffion just pulls them apart
