Well 13 dpo and another :bfn:

Maybe its too early to test, but my usual luteal phase is 14 or 15 days, so I don't think so. Tests these days are pretty sensitive. So it really is on to IVF for me. I was praying, and praying that this would be it.

My temps this month were very, very flat. I checked my thermometer and it is working ( I get different temps at different times during the day, and when I test it in cool - warm- hot water it also seems to be working). Flat temps are not the norm for me, they usually vary a little bit.

Does anyone know what causes temps to be so flat?

I don't know how to link my chart, but things started out normal and then I had 5 days of 36.7 and then 4 days of 36.8 and then today a rise to 36.9.

(don't get to excited about a rise at 13 dpo - I always have one)

Thanks!

HI there Latestarter can you set up a link for a peep... have you clearly O ?

Hi,

I think this is the link to my chart. But I've definitely O'd. Its usually not a problem - I just can't seem to make anything else happen! Thanks for looking...

Its the December 31, 2008 chart labeled IUI#8... You can also see my other charts on this page. They aren't as flat as this months.

Maybe I'll just go get a new thermometer

As far as I can see yep you have O so....I would not worry about the flat temps you can get thoughs as your other cycles are fine.there is a nice rise and fall, if your sure its not your thermometer, then what about sleeping with your mouth open that can affect temps by a small amount or being warmer in bed, illness not sure what else...hope that helps..

Are you using a basal body thermometer? Because it looks like you are just using a normal thermometer. Temps can look to be very flat if you are not using a thermometer that goes all the way to the hundredth position.

Hi Vestirse,

I just read your post and ran to look at my thermometer. It is, indeed a basal digital thermometer. But it only goes to the tenth not the hundreth. So, I will buy a new one for next cycle. Thanks!

To be a real basal body thermometer, it must go to the hundredths position. I have no idea why they sell the one that only go up to one decimal place as BBT thermometers. They are not, they are just regular thermometers! They just serve to confuse the hell out of women.

I'll say. This one even came with instructions on how to chart, and blank charts to fill in. I used the paper method before I found fertility friend! Grrrr....
