Do fleece wraps work for newborns or not really? are they better once baby is moving about a bit?

I need to make some wraps for my Ella's house nappies and thought fleece wraps but then didn't know if they would compression leak due to smaller baby not wriggling about much

We started using fleece at about 3 months and it wicked a bit then! Its alot better now and works great! So i would suggest not using it on a newborn!

We didn't have much luck with fleece when Emma was smaller either. We didn't try fleece when she was a newborn though so maybe if you LO isn't a heavy wetter, and you are changing often in the night (we had to for the first few months since she pooped at night still), it might work  I prefer wool over fleece. I know you make a lot of your own nappies- we first tried wool by upcycling an old wool interlock sweater into longies and a soaker (big sweater, lol)- you could try something like that to see if you like it :flower:
