Fleet enema safe at 7-8 weeks?

I had to use one due to severe constipation but I find conflicting information about it. The first two sites I found said it is safe in very early pregnancy only.
But other sites even suggest it can cause a miscarriage. Which is true now? And have you used one in early pregnancy?

Hi, I did use enemas through out my pregnancy with my son. I asked my obgyn about it this time and she said she would go with the mineral oil one, but suggested I try the glycerine suppositories first. So I have been using them and if it's bad I use a natural laxative that she said I use called senna. I also take a stool softner everyday.

I used them in pregnancy. My OB told it was fine to use, just not excessively.
