Flu symptoms as early pregnancy symptom?

Hi

does anyone know if flu like symptoms can be an early pregnancy symptom?? With my first pregnancy I had nausea around 10DPO-14DPO I have been experiencing that for the last 3 days (today is 13DPO) until today in which I feel like I have the flu, sore muscles, groggy head, chills, headache...... I tested today and yesterday and BFN both times. I dont want yo waste my last test..... Also I could be incorrect about Ov but really dont feel I am, i'm not temping as i'm breastfeeding. My last cycle was 27 days i'm already up to CD32...... :-S

In summary
Has anyone heard of flu symptoms being an early pregnancy symptom.

I had cold like symptoms for a few days befor i got my BFP with my LO. Good luck

I just got my BFP on 7/5 and i am experiencing flu like symptoms. Im breastfeeding too, good luck hun.

With my first baby I felt really unwell five or 6 days after Ov (I think). I had mild nausea, a painful headache and a high temperature and I ached all over. I also had trapped wind. I'm not sure if any of it was a symptom or coincidence but I'm feeling a similar way atm (without the wind), felt sick most of the morning, now have a temperature (37.8 celcius) headache, aching muscles and if I don't sit down carefully enough I feel my womb (or that area) jar a little painfully. This was something I experienced when pregnant with my last. Either way, I'm trying not to get my hopes up but wondering if I might be... I'm not going to test till I have a late AF though. Good luck X
ps: I've had chills today too, now my head is burning... Fingers crossed there'sa positive reason for all this.

I just found this response on a similar thread... 'apparently a day or so after fertilization the egg releases a chemical called EPF (early pregnancy factor) which lowers your immune system to stop it from attacking the egg'

That makes me very hopful, I got sick (headache, stuffy nose, sore throat(now dissapeared), a couple days after my ovulation... so hopefully I'lll get a positive this month!!

unfortunately for me i think i am just sick 14DPO and another BFN, i think i have Ovulated later than i assumed and have quitely simply come down with the flu.

I'm okay with it though. While i was a bit disappointed i'm trying not to stress myself out. I'm breastfeeding and my husband is unaware that my cycles have returned :-S but he knows the consequences of unsafe sex. So it would be a little bad to conceive under these circumstances. EVEN THOUGH I REALLY WANT TO!!

Ladies please update me whether you get BFPs or not!! GOOD LUCK!!!!

Im going crazy i think lol.. I tested again.... i swear there is something there but i think its all in my head!!
