I just wanted to know if anyone else had experienced this.
Posted this in 3rd trimester as well. This is my third baby and i am having growth scans to make sure she's growing. I was having a 28 week one (im actually 29) and the sonographer said nothing at the time just handed my notes back to me, but i was reading them on the way home and noticed her comment: ''prominent fluid filled loops in the bowel, rescan on request''.
I called my midwife straight away who sasked why hadn't i gone straight round to the day ward to discuss my results. Apparently after every every 'unroutine' scan your meant to go there....well sorry but noe once has this ever been mentioned to me. This is why the sonographer hadn't said anything.
I am already under the care of a consultant and i now have an appointment booked this tues. But i'm still no clearer as to what it might be, what it means or treatment that may be needed.
My midwife was so unsympathetic, offered no words of advice so i'm sat here worrying.
Sorry about the long post, any help would be greatly appreciated xx
