Folic acid question

I just found out i am pregnant but haven't taken any folic acid. Can anyone recommend a small tablet folic acid and pregnancy supplement to take. Last pregnancy i was taking ones the size of horse tablets and its put me off.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I went into my local pharmacy and they gave pregnacare and they are like horse tablets! Needless to say they are still unopened in my cupboard! I then went to my local supermarket (tesco) and picked up some folic acid from the vitamin section. My midwife did me some folic acid with added vits but its making my mouth really dry so im alternating between the 2 x

Yeah i think the ones i had were the same brand,pregnancy care tablets are huge.

The boots own brand ones are good, they have the amount that's advised in pregnancy and are about the same size as the bcp

You could just buy the folic acid tablets and not a pregnancy multivitamin containing them.
I got some from asda when wtt and they were tiny tablets

Thank you for the advice, i am just looking at some now, hopefully i should be taking some by the weekend.
