Hello folks, I wonder if anyone out there could take me through the process that is follicle tracking. I have a blocked tube and I want to find out what this involves and if it would be helpful,
Thanks,
to all!
My doc would just have me come in on the CD12 and look at my ovaries to see how big my follicles were and where they were in the process. He would tell me what side they were on. Because of Clomid usually on both sides then he would tell me when to try and conceive.
Yeah, for me it involved Metformin (I have PCOS and don't ovulate without it) then I had internal u/s scans, usually 2 or 3 each cycle during the second week to pinpoint how many follicles there were and when we should inseminate (we were also using donor sperm). It took us a while but we got pregnant eventually!
Hey Noja, good to see you! Yeah, they will do an internal u/s with the probe thingy to have a look at how your follicles in your ovaries are going. When the follicles get to a certain size your FS may give you a trigger shot so you can time when to bed (24 - 36hrs after the shot). It just makes timing alot easier I think, I found it took the timing pressure off us. Good luck hun, miss seeing you around, thinking of you xoxo
