I'm sure this has been asked before but I can't find the thread. Just wondered if I have to change my LO onto follow on milk? She is coming up to 6 months and hasn't really got onto solids yet (we are just trying her again now).

I'd rather not change unless we have to as she is nice and settled on the current milk and friends have told me the follow on milk is a little thicker.

follow on milk has more iron in it and vit D they say if your little on is eatting a varity of foods you dont need to change but i did anyway as i wanted to make sure she was getting the them just incase she didn't get ti from the food i was giving her.

at the end of the day it is your choice what you do.x

Follow on milk is for babies who are eastablished on 3 solid meals a day,it contains more vitamins and minerals in smaller quantaties of milk.
I would wait until she's having 3 meals, and change then. I know people say there is no need, but i like to make sure they get all they can :)

we started last week as luisa is now on 3 meals and only has 3 bottles a day

she didnt even notice :D
