Follow on milk

Do i need to gradually introduce follow on formula or can i just change straight away at 6 months?

We just switched completely straight away (same brand though).

Only thing we noticed was that her dirty nappies were a lot more frequent.. But this could have been due to starting weaning as well.

Thanks I'm planning on still using cow and gate. I've been in two minds about switching but i've got so many £1 vouchers so it'll save me some money. I just hope Ffion wont decide she doesn't like it lol

We started getting the night time and 1yr + vouchers with the follow on milk tho

Violet doesn't seem to notice a difference, she still gobbles it down

I read the tin but i wasn't sure if it was just one of those things that babies don't really need or does it help?

Don't use it nah, she sleeps fine at night so I'm not gonna muck about with loads of different milk. I think it's thicker and therefore it's meant to make them go longer between feeds (therefore sleeping longer at night)

i was thinking i might put Harriet onto this (i get the £1 voucherrs too haha)

is it thicker or soemthing? i need to get her to sleep better lol, hungry baby stopped working after a while and shes on stage 1 and now thats seemed to stop filling her too.

what does the follow on do? x

I think it just has more iron in it so that if your having trouble weaning LO will still be getting the nutrients through formula.

So many £1 off vouchers is my main reason for changing though haha
