Well we had finished our tub of Stage 2, sent OH out to get some formula and he came back with C&G stage 3 follow on as it said from 6 months+ and he thought thats what he 'should' be having by now :dohh:.

I made Theos breakfast this morning and it tasted like syrup...the follow on milk is soo sweet?! Theo pulled his face a little but ate it anyway, gave him his bottle as usual after breakfast and he was sick...do you think its to sweet for him maybe? Do they put sugar or something in it?

He drank his bedtime bottle fine but I dunno, do they make it a little sweeter so they drink it or something?? I never bothered with the follow on milk for my DD, she always had the stage 1 milk then cows milk!

Also we have the £1 off the follow on milk, so its abit cheaper....is it worth it or should I just put him back on the stage 2 milk??

If he was happy with the stage 2 formula I'd stick with it. The follow on milk is less filling anyway, so you might not get on with it. There's no reason why you can't give him the odd bottle of it, or mix it with the stage 2 to use it up though, it seems a shame to waste it.

I suspect that they have to adjust the sweetness to mask the flavour of the extra iron they put in it - iron tends not to taste too good.
