Follow up after D&C

Today i had my follow up after my d&c and the doctor told me she doesnt think that i should have any problems trying to concieve again but that if i dont get my period in 2 months than she can help get my hormons balanced out, and i should wait until after my next period to start TTC again but me and my husband have already had a lot of unprotected sex, is it even possible to get pregnant before my next period ? also i have no idea when im going to start my next period all of this is super confusing.

I hope I'm understanding right, but the average is ovulation 2 weeks after miscarriage, then AF two weeks later. So I'm going with yes, you can.

yes it is possible to get pregnant before your AF shows start day of miscarriage as day1 when your HCG levels reach below <5 your body can now release an egg and start your AF two weeks later if has not met with the sperm. good luck to you and hope to get your rainbow baby soon

Thank you i hope we get our rainbow baby as well, I think until i get AF im thinking its best if we use proctection. What do you guys think?

its really based on your state, can you handle or is your body ready to get pregnant again. I know its mostly common to wait until after AF because its better to date your DD in case you do get pg right away. me personally im not waiting.

Exactly. Of all the questions regarding pregnancy, this one seems to offer the biggest variation of answers. My doctor says we can try again whenever we're ready. She said she'd like to see a negative test, but that it's not necessary. I'm waiting to decide if I want to. Im pretry sure I do but giving myself a few days to changet my mind. Again. Still testing positive.

Yes I have it all mapped out this time, I really learned from this experience. by day 28 after D&C I will do HCG if negative I will take provera to make my cycle come ( if it doesn't come on its own) and get the ball rolling. its really about being ready I feel great and I want to start asap
