So, I know this is TMI, but I just had an HSG Monday, and today (Thursday) I passed a couple large pieces of tissue, which I'm guessing is uterine lining. They looked fleshy with a bit of brown, and were about 1.5-2 inches long/wide. I've been cramping ever since the HSG, but just mildly, and having brown discharge since mid Tuesday. I just called my RE and am waiting for a call back.

I'm supposed to start a medicated cycle next cycle. I don't know if the shedding of lining mid-cycle will throw anything off, and I haven't seen red blood yet, so I'm assuming this would not be considered AF.

Anyone experience this ever? I haven't ever had this, not even following my F&C last year.

I didn't pass any tissue, but I did have brown spotting for about for days then af came early In full force
.

I had a hycosy not hsg, but I was the same as pp.....spotting on and off for a few ads then got AF a few days early. I think the procedure just disturbs the uterine lining.

I just had a HSG on Monday and had the same thing coming out - looked like old uterine lining and maybe a little old blood. I took it as a good sign thinking maybe some of that stuff was keeping an egg from implanting or something! I would be interested to hear what your doctor said about it?
