Food poisoning and try to conceive

After spening the night with vomitting and diarrhoea and being exhausted today, I can concluded that I have food poisoning (prob rom the mint yoghurt dip which my mother-in-law insisted was ok only to tell me she didn't know how long it had been in the fridge for after I have eaten it).

My AF is due on Monday (i'm 8DPO) does anyone know if it can have an impact when trying to conceive?!? I know it's not good once pregnant.
