For all first time want to-be moms???

What are the main things that you think about EVERY day that you yern to do when you first become a mom?


For me .....

1. Breastfeed- For some reason I love to see a baby at it's mom's breast and paying,touching and kissing and I think that is the most beautiful thing

2. Having the rain fall and just lying aroung in bed with me baby and SO

3. Hearing and seeing those little toddling feet running and saying mommy

4. Coming home from work and having my own baby waiting for me and something of my own to come home to

For me:

Feeling the kicks inside

Seeing the baby on the scan

Pushing MY pram with MY baby in it - I think this is one of the best things Im looking forward to

Being called Mummy - both by my baby and others

Pushing the pram for me

I dread nappy changing, feeding in the night, nipple sores, and leaving the baby to go to work

pushing the pram when me and DH go out for a walk.

breastfeeding (if i can do it okay)

laying in bed with my baby while DH is at work - or the 3 of us in bed together all cosy.

being called mummy... that would be cute!

Yeh being called mummy and pushing a pram are big ones.

I cant wait tho to actually feel my baby inside me giving me a kick etc...i cant imgine what that wud feel like but i think it must be wonderful

Feeling the baby move for the first time - must be magical
Sounds weird but the birth - the first time they lay the baby in your arms and you know its yours.
Hearing the baby cry for the first time.
and for me its also pushing the pram with your own baby in it.
and finally seeing them learn new things daily.

Yes I sometimes fantacise that I'm in the hospital in labor SO is with me,then I push the baby out and see the look that is on his face when he sees our baby for the first time and later when we are all cleaned up and I look at him and tell him yes we did it,we have finally gotten our baby and he hold me and just keeps kissing me and our baby

Being called mummy

Lying in bed on a Sunday morning with Mr Urch and our baby - our own little family unit

Fondly watching my child play with the other littl'uns in the family

Feeling babys first kick
Seeing baby on first scan
Looking at our baby and knowing that we made him/her
The "we have a girl/boy" at the birth...which i want DH to tell me
Being called mummy
Hearing DH be called daddy
Seeing DH hold our baby
Pushing our baby in our pram
Seeing the joy on my mum's face when we tell her she is going to be a nana
The kisses, cuddles, playing etc

....and the list goes on....
