Do they actually make your whole room smell lovely? I bought a few £1 little ones a few months ago from my local asda but don't remember being very impressed by them. Infact neither me or my OH could smell them burning.

Now my question is did they not smell as good just because I had the little £1 ones? If I bought some nice bigger ones will I be impressed? I don't really fancy wasting my money if it's going to a non smelly candle again. :haha:

I'm thinking of getting some nice Christmas ones :)

I've ordered a bunch of yankee tarts, haven't got them yet but from what I remember they have a nice long lasting smell. Think that is why Yankee is so popular.

I will be honest when I burn the candles I dont smell them at all but when I burn the tarts the smell is lush, I have a open plan sitting/dining room and the smell fills the whole double room :) x

Are the tarts the little flower shaped ones? I noticed the had those in asda maybe I'll try them them instead for the sake of a few £s

Yeah thats the tarts  you may already know this but I will tell you anyway as I didnt know and made a fool of myself  The tarts are not a candle, they dont have a wick you have to burn them in a burner

the wax tarts are absolutely gorgeous!! I find them a lot stronger smelling as the wax melts into a liquid which lasts ages!! a lot better than the tiny candle samplers! x

Thanks for the heads up  I didn't already know untill I just seen the burners on eBay. I have a nice Christmas oil burner can I use that with a tart until I'm able to get one just for the Yankee tarts if I'm impressed with them? I assume it's the same sort of thing?

Anyone recommend any nice Christmasy tarts? :)

Omg I just seen this on eBay! I think it's absolutely lovely and I want it sooooooooo bad!

It's almost £25 including P&P though

I wonder if my daddy will be putting money in my Christmas card again this year
