So after more than a year and a half of actively trying me and DH are being forced into ntnp by my doctor. Really he said it would be better to avoid it, but he understood that after so long of trying that I wasn't that willing to fully give up.
The reason we are now ntnp is a mysterious medical issue I have been having since the day our adopted daughter was born a month ago. I have been having sharp pains in my stomach every day for a week before going to my doctor, who thought it as bowel spasms. I had a follow up this past Tuesday. Between the two appointments my back had also started hurting really bad and my stomach hadn't let up. I also starting getting sick one or two times a day. Now my doctor has no idea what could be happening and with a history of degenerative disc disease for me and arthritis in my family he wants to send me to a few specialist. He said it would be hard for me to continue treatment and testing while pregnant if I do fall pregnant but not impossible so we decided to not try but not give up either.
Sorry for the rant.
