Formula and age?

Please forgive me if this sounds sily. This is my first time as a mom and things are still a bit confusing at times.
Caleb is 6months next thursday but corrected age just over 5 months. Question is- Do I give him next stage milk eg from next week or when he is corrected 6 months 27th june.
Hope this wasnt a silly question just needed abit of advice thanks. xx

I have been told by my midwife that there is no need at all to go onto anything other than the first milk - stay on it til 12months then go onto cows milk

If you want to go onto it anyway, I would say you could do now unless LO is still way underweight for 6months

i heard that the only reason there is such a thing as foloow on milk or stage 3 milk is because this a way of them getting round the no advertising thing as follow isnt infant formula. ill be keeping lo on stage 1 milk

We changed to follow-on milk when Joe was 6 months and it made him really constipated, so we changed back to Cow & Gate number 1. Our HV said there was no need to change, that the first one or hungry baby one is ok until 12 months.

Omar's formula is Anti reflux & it's for 0-12. So I guess stage 1 should also be suitable until 12 mnths.
