When i start adding the required number of spoons of formula to my bottle of boiling water the steam makes the formula stick to the spoon.

does anyone have any tips about how to avoid this? otherwise i don't think my LO will get enough powder in his bottle...

thanks

hi boobo, this is so annoying isn't it! The only thing that helped me was using taller bottles so the steam din't affect the spoon as much, and I tried to hold it higher above the bottle too. x x

i got some little tommee tippee "cups" & measure the powder out into those then into the bottles with hot water.

I found if I let the water cool for the full 30 minutes it clogged up a lot less. If you can't wait that long then it does get a bit annoying.

The only thing I used to do, other than wait, is rinse the spoon with water from the kettle to clean it.

I sterilise an extra bottle, so that I can put the required number of scoops into each of the other bottles first, and then add in the right amount of water to each one :)

I use those TT dispensers, just put the amount of power in, then tip it into the bottle :)
