Formula Mums- how much does it cost?!

About $40/week on Similac Sensitive (powder, concentrate or RTF equal about the same!).

I'm jealous of the prices in the UK. It's the same price it seems in the US, but $ is worth less than £...

Does it increase as they get older?

How often does the milk change? Like for example, newbon milk lasts so long and then then move on to the next stage formula?

It's all new to me, sorry if its a stupid question x

New guildlines say you dont need to switch to follow on milk that first stage milk is enough for there diet providing when you start weaning at 6 months old they have a healthy diet. I didnt move on and my daughter is 8 months old and fine. but i know alot of people move on milks and sometimes ( not always) have problems weaning of to cows milk at 12months because basickly follow on milk tastes like milkshake lol thats just my opinion people dont always have an issue with it but its poiintless swaping

In Canada I bought the pre made stuff until 2 months which was about $2 for 120ml now the powder costs $.50 for 120ml of prepared formula. The prices on some cans are really deceiving because the scoops inside are different sizes depending on the brand... So if you see one can has 750g and the other is 900g, they both might make the same amount of prepared formula.

With my first he went through 15 cans a month of powder at $15 a can so it was pricey. That was for enfamil. This time around I signed up with the formula company and have gotten a ton of $5 coupons. After I am out of coupons will be switching to the target brand. I am combi feeding so we only use 1 can a week at this point.
