Formula question

I have just tried to give Lo some formula but he only took an ounce. He is usually breasted. I don't think he was particularly hungry which is why he only took an ounce. I used a ready made carton and it says I can keep it in the fridge for 24 hrs. Does the same apply to the formula already in the sterilized bottle? It wasn't warmed up.

Not if he's drunk from it no, you have to use it within 2 hours max. If its just been put in the sterilised bottle and straight into the fridge, not via any mouths then yes you can keep it 24 hours.
