i'm trying to figure out which would be cheaper?
(im not too fussed on the price really for obvious reasons)
i'd like to switch to cartons because i find formula tins really fussy and i can't recycle them! grr.

help anyone?
amelia has 5 feeds at 7oz each so i'd like to base how many feeds would she get from 1 litre carton xx

tins always work out cheaper for us, we used cartons for the first 3 weeks (cos we were tired and it was easier!:haha: ) and then switched to tins and we did notice we saved a fair bit doing that.

We are spending £28 a week on cartons, for the equivalent powder it would be around £15. As your LO is eating less it wont cost quite so much.

I'm not sure how many per litre though, we are on Aptamil so they only do small cartons.

Tins for us definitely.

A tin of SMA costs us £7.25 in Sainsbury's. You get 214 oz scoops from a tin (according to the label) nd as Earl is currently on 36oz a day it works out at around £1.25 a day.

Cartons are 53p for a 9oz carton (not sure on the larger cartons as they don't sell them) so would be £2.12 a day.

lana is on cow and gate and i use 2 big cartons a day - she gets 5 bottles 7oz in each out of that

i just sterilise and fill all the bottles in the morning and stick them in the fridge for the day -

big cartons are £1.05 each - so a couple of quid a day, but omg so much easier lol
