Up until now I haven't ventured out of the house for long periods of time as LO is 6 weeks and I had a c section so have had to rely on others to take me places. So now that I can finally drive and get out and about, I'm wondering which is the best way to handle pre-making bottles to take out with me?
Is it best to keep a bottle of boiled water in a thermal bag and add the formula powder when he's ready for a feed? How long can I keep this water for? Or is it best if I make the bottle as per usual before going out (but not cooling to correct temp so it's still hot) and keeping in thermal bag until he's ready for it? again, how long could I keep this for?
If I'm visiting someone's house I'm planning to make the formula just before I go out, not cooling it to correct temp, keeping in thermal bag and putting it in the fridge when I get there ready for when he's hungry. I currently pre-make a day's worth at home as when he's hungry he's very impatient and the thought of 30 mins of his screaming does not appeal!
