its girl! Lovely scanning lady couldnt see any boy parts and could eventually see the girls parts and pointed them out to us. Then baby opened their legs wide and sonographer said that makes her more confident of the gender being girl. Absolutely nothing between then legs apart from the 3 lines of the girl parts. So am I safe to say girl now? Bit scared incase its really a boy but she did check about 4 times to check and she said it was 95% sure as shes not allowed to say higher odds then that. I have my NHS scan in the first week of February so she did say to double check then but shes sure.

I'd say that sounds like a girl to me!!! Congratulations!!!!!

I don't think they're EVER allowed to say more than 95% unless you get the genetic blood test done or something like that.

But as far as "finding out the sex".... I think you just did.

Congratulations Momma. :)

thanks for that. Im just a bit scared in case it turns out to be a boy. But I know from my older boys scans that you can see loud and clear if it is a boy and the sonographer did sound very sure and checked back whenever baby moved.

I think it's safe to say you are having a girl - congrats!!! <3<3<3 I had my confirmation scan about 17 weeks (genetic test said girl but I needed to see for myself) and there was no doubt. By that time they are pretty well developed and any nub has "fallen off" if it's a girl as my Doctor says hahahaha!

thanks girls. Im thinking it cant be wrong if baby had their legs wide open and still nothing seen to indicate boy and the 3 white lines of the labia where there. I guess if baby had their legs more close together something could be hidden but she did check back after baby had moved and still nothing. Im not buying pink til I see the 20wk scan though. Just to double check!

I'd also say it definitely sounds like girl to me, when I had my gender scan a couple of weeks ago she said 99% and told me she wasn't allowed to say 100%. I'm the same though, am now waiting for my 20 week scan to confirm.
I think once you've had a couple of the same gender it makes it that bit harder to believe, it definitely does for me anyway. :)
