I will have been trying for four years next month, I cannot believe I'm still not pregnant not even a late period!! What the hell is up with my body!! Anyone else been trying so long & have no explaination as of why?

All my friends have conceived easily & some of them are on baby number two...I am very jealous I cant even be bothered with them anymore, two of them just text me on the day of the 12week scan saying 'I'm preg & away for a 12 wk scan' very nice text when they know how long I have been trying!!

On a plus this year we start IVF in June/July. I feel I'm going to be blessed with twins :)

Big hugs. That's a long time time to be TTC. I have 2 friends who were TTC for over 2 years and they were both blessed with babies after IVF - I hope you are too!!

Awww, I am so sorry! I hope you get your BFP ASAP!

I hope you get your BFP soon. I would literally die if it took that long.

:hugs: hope you don't have to wait too much longer, you've definitely earned it!

Thanks ladies xx. I'm really hoping it happens before IVF but it's good to know that it worked for your 2 friends Goldfish.

Have you ever tried a acupuncture fertility specialist. I heard great result with it

No I haven't I don't know if anyone specialises in fertility acupuncture where I live. I will look into it, my O/H says I'm too uptight so that actually might help me. Thanks :)

Hi! We are in similar boat :) In June will be 3 years as we started ttc.
Unexplained infertility. Currently I'm doing acupuncture and herbs once a week for 4 months now. It makes a difference, I noticed change in my period and BBT! Never had a BFP, but I did experience chemical. So it's implantation problem.
Good luck with the IVF :)
So far I'm not considering that, we still hope for natural conception (and it's a lot of money).

That was inconsiderate of your friends... **Hugs** Sometimes folks say things and don't even realize what it can do to others, especially those of us who are **TRYING** TC and some just seem to sneeze and end up preggers. Anyhoo, keep us posted on your journey and hopefully you'll have that BFP ((and maybe even twins ;) )) sooner than later.

I'm the same, it will be 4 years this year! I'm waiting to have either iui or ivf! Every thing seems to take so long! I hope it's not much longer for us xxx

Malamae, I may seem stupid here but is the acupuncture done in your back or stomach? Can the therapist tell what could be the problem? & what herbs do you take?

Yea lalalaura, I think it's been a long journey defo gets me down at times. But we have to keep positive that one day we will conceive :) it is hard though.

V2R, your question is perfectly ok. The needles are placed in my tummy, actually on ovaries and uterus area, some on my feet and legs, on my right thumb. After ovulation, near the time of period he doesn't place needles in the tummy just in case we conceived. He also places 2-3 needles on my mid back on the spine.
My acupuncturist asked me a lot of questions and from that he learned that I had immature eggs (I think we solved that now) and implantation problems. I think he said I have kidney yang deficiency (the cold feet and hands were sign for that). Since then (4 months ago I started) I'm warmer.

Acupuncture and herbs worked for me. I wasn't trying as long as you, I got pg after 11 looooong months, then had a mc. Then conceived 4 months after that, with the help of the acupuncture. It's meant to improve chances of ivf being successful too. Fx for those twins honey!! Xx

Thanks. Thats really interesting. I cannot find acupunctures in my area but I will definatley try & find one, no harm in giving it a try.

I understand your situation as we have been TTC for about 4 years 2 months. Its a very long and hurtful time. I have PCOS, do not ovulate on my own. Just found out my hubbies SA was not great, at all. I am at my wits end.

Have you been cycled monitored by an RE? I had been having problems conceiving as well. After one year of trying I went to a OB and was put on clomid only to lose the baby at almost 18 weeks. Then have been trying another 6 months and finally got referred to an RE. All my blood work came normal, u/s normal, Husband-great SA..but because of monitoring we found out that my eggs start off the right way but when the final maturing process begins they just stopped growing and ultimately dont release and if they do they are to immature to fertilize.

About the friend thing, i swear some people just don't think before they speak (or text) they don't realize how hard that news is to someone who has been trying for a long time, but at the same time I understand their excitement. Its what we all hope and pray for.

I hope that you can get your BFP without IVF, but at least you know that you have that option if it don't happen by itself. :hugs:

Hi I was monitored on the 1st cycle of clomid & my eggs were perfect size, the nurse was very positive that I would be pregnant straight away. Maybe I have problems in the final maturing process but I've never been monitored that far but I suppose when I've never fallen pregnant it's a case of the sperm is not meeting my egg!!
I'm really going to try & relax this month & not think too much about babies!!

Hi Tiff, yes it's very difficult. No words can help what we are going through only hope!
My o/h SA was fine but this year he has decided to lose weight so far he's lost a stone & stop drinking (not that he drank alot) & see if that helps.

Good luck. Have you tried clomid since you dont ovulate?
