Fourth labours....easier? Faster?

I've asked over in third tri but nobody has replied. Did you find your fourth labour was easier of faster than the others? I have read loads and loads of stories that say this. I'm a bit worried as I'm due a home birth this time, and my last labour was only a few hours long, and he was pushed out in under two minutes! I don't want to get caught out before the birth pool is up

I don't have 4 but i am the youngest of 4 and have friends who have 4. In all cases the 4th was a much shorter labour. In my mum case her first labour was 36hours, the next two fairly normal times and then when she had me she went into labour about 10pm and had me at 11.40pm.

I dont know, will let you know in 5 weeks!!!!

This is my forth baby and third homebirth, my last labour was classed as 40 mins as went from 1 cm to baby being born in 40 mins, shocking how quick it was.x

And also i have three girls and a boy on the way!

Thanks ladies. I'm getting a bit freaked out about how short everyone says their fourth labour was! It took us an hour and a half to fill the pool so I don't want it any faster than that!
