We had a power cut yesterday it was about 2.5 hours I think. I have fish fingers or chicken kievs I want to eat today, I may have opened the freezer yesterday to get an ice cream....do you think these foods will be ok to eat? There was no water on the floor so I'm guessing it didn't thaw??

Freezer contents are fine for 24hrs with no power as long as they are not opened too much hun :flower:

Yes, definitely fine.

I accidentally switched off my deep freezer overnight a few weeks ago-everything was fine.

We had a power cut for 8 hrs yesterday & all the food in the freezer is fine thankfully, we have a big chest freezer & there's a lot in it, I would hate to have lost it all!!

Yes it will be fine as long as the door wasn't open for a long time :)
