Have any of you ladies had frequent urination that suddenly stopped at 11 weeks?

I'm just concerned that this is a bad sign :?

I heard the uterus moves up towards the second trimester to make room for the growing baby.

Has anyone else experienced this.

I used to use the loo at least 10 times a day and i'd have to get up 4-5 times at night to use the loo and last night i didn't get up once!

Anyone that can shed some light on this it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Hu hunni,

The same thing happened to me too! At around 11 weeks the constant peeing just stopped and is now back to normal!

I think it is because your uterus is moving up, away from your bladder as bubba grows so there's not as much pressure as at first.

I have my 12 wk scan today so i'll let you know whether it's a good or a bad sign later on!

Aw thanks hun :D

Love this site, everybody is so helpful and so full of great advice!

I really hope that's all it is as you know how we stress about every little thing!!

Had a scan on Monday at 10+2 but doctor said i was actually 10+3 but "God forbid" we just never know do we?

Please keep me updated

Same thing happened to me too. I couldn't go through the night without going at least 3 times but now I can go all night without peeing. Same during the day too. I had my scan 10 days ago and baby is fine. Completely normal!
xx

It's because your uterus has now tipped the top of your pelvis, if you lay down and have a gentle prod around just above your pubic bone you might be able to feel a hard ball - that's your uterus!

At this point the pressure on your bladder is relieved somewhat and you lose that frequency to pee..

Enjoy it, it will hit you with avengence again in 3rd trimester and you'll be up hourly at night when you get as far along as I am now..

Thanks ladies, that's very interesting to know!

And it's great to have my fears alleviated :)

Damn I can imagine in the 3rd tri it gets worse, but bring it on!! Hehe

Thanks hon!

It really alleviates our fears!

As uncomfortable as it is, i cannot wait for the 3rd tri :D
