So I was bored today while my boyfriend decided to head in and get chinese for us - which led me to start reading the directions for the First Response tests we had just picked up. In it, I saw that you have to continue holding the test downward when reapplying the cap or it will affect the results. I have always just replaced the cap after laying it flat.

Does this honestly affect the results???

Laying it plat right after is fine. Just don't turn it up. Keep it at flat as possible.
