Hi everyone! I am 40 (41 in October) and TTC again after 18 years. I have an 18 year old DD from my ex that I had at 22. My current DH is 32, so we are hopeful, though I know my age is prob the biggest hurdle. However we've been trying since last summer (without really trying)... We began ovulation tracking from March on. And just started using Preseed this past cycle. Now that you know my story....
I O'd on either CD17/18 and I am 12/13 dpo now and having few symptoms, mainly low pelvic pinching nonstop for a couple days, mild soreness on sides of bb's on and off... AF was due yesterday and nothing still. I am spotting (literally a drop of thin red blood when I have a bm, then it stops within seconds and later turns Brown- not ever making but a small spot on a panty liner) sorry TMI! I don't really have loads of CM, like most early preggers do, I am just a bit wet that's it.... I have been POAS daily and am driving myself nuts. I swear I see lines in the bright daylight but nothing is progressing. Basically BFN every day.
All this for a simple question... Is there hope? Am I testing too early? Does my situation sound remotely similar to any of you? Or am I just alone??? Sigh...

At 13 DPO you would usually get a rather noticeable second line. try FRER, they usually pick up even very low HCG levels. Good luck.

Hang in there. It can and does happen for many of us. Are you taking any supplements?

I've been taking Prenatals and Maca. And btw- still no AF, but using a HPT that I believe is not too sensitive. I ordered Wondfos.... So I'll test on Wednesday...

I can't help with your question, but I can really relate to your story. I'm 40 (41 in December) and have been TTC since April of 2014. I have 2 DDs (23 & 21) from a prior marriage. DH has no children. So, we want to conceive one together. Fx you get your BFP soon!

Congratulations on your BFP. So lovely to hear we can still get pregnant at our age! Good luck :)

If you have a really slow traveler & embedder you could be implanting right about now and it'll take a day or so for the hcg to build up enough to show on a test. It's more common to see folks test positive early (9, 10 dpo), rather than late (13, 14, 15 dpo), but it's within the realm of possibility. Plus, it's hard to pinpoint ov exactly. I hope you get your BFP!
