so im 37 and have been trying for 6mths. im doing it all tracking, vitimans, pee strips, eating right, no drinking, not even heated car seats! i know 6 mths isnt too long. i have a apt for infertility in april. im just so annoyed with reading "have fun" and "relax". how can i have fun and relax when i have to do 5 million things to TTC and ensure a healthy start for a potential child. its like you have to pretend to be pregnant for a full term before even getting pregnant. plus deal with disappointment monthly. help! i just want to hear some motivation or even just understanding. thank you!

Hi Lauren! Welcome to B&B! I'm so sorry to hear of your frustration with your fertility. It can definitely be a long process. Some people, it just happens so easily for them and then there are those of us who are struggling month by month to even ovulate. My husband and I had trouble conceiving our first child as we tried for three years, the last six months of those did cycles of provera, clomid, and finally our last cycle added a trigger shot, and that initially is what worked for us. Fast forward six and a half years later and we are in the same boat again, having trouble conceiving. I started fertility treatments in August 2018 and we are currently in the tww from our 6th cycle. I know it's stressful and incredibly difficult, but let this be your place to vent and talk about your fertility journey. It sounds like you are doing everything correctly that you should be and more, and you have a plan to meet with a doctor, that is wonderful news. I think you will have a bit of an ease of stress relief once you get a plan in place with the doctor. Be sure to check out some of the success stories on here and mention those regimens to your doctor. You can ask them questions and ultimately, you have the right to make the final decisions on what you do. My OB was ready to refer me to specialist this last cycle and I told him no, not yet, and asked to try something different, to try the same regimen that worked for us six years ago, and he agreed and so far the results have been good. I am 99% sure we had a very strong ovulation last week and the Clomid helped me produce 3 mature follicles when with our last medication, we didn't even ovulate. So be your own voice and voice your concerns and opinions to your doctor. He/she will listen if they are a good provider.

Good luck with everything and I am here if you ever want to chat! :)

Sending lots of baby dust your way!:dust:
