Hi ladies,

I had my first FS appointment in L&D hospital in Luton, UK which was an awful experience :growlmad: and decided not to go back even if i have to start from the beginning. Can any of you recommend a place in London or surroundings? I've already asked my GP for another referral but i need to chose the hospital. My day21 progesteron level was 26 which doesn't definitely indicate ovulation and dh's motility and morphology was very low, count was adequate. Anyone is the same situation?

Hi

I am going to Herts & Essex. They are lovely. They are near Goffs Oak. Just off the A10. Take a look at their website.

They have regular open evenings where they explain a basic IVF cycle, show you around and you can speak to a consultant.

xx

Thanks Kristy, i was wondering where you got to from the Team Ding Dong thread. I'm glad to see you've been accepted at the clinic. I'll check Herts & Essex. Good luck hunni xx

I was having a break and just popping in every now and then. How are the dongs doing? I just popped over to say hello

So how are things going for you??

xx

Well, i feel down and frustrated about the whole ttc. Haven't been posting on the TDD thread for a while either only lurking around to see if the girls are okay. How do you cope with all this Kristy? The wait and the fact that i can't control what's happening is really dragging me down. They say 'patience is a virtue', hope it pays off :( xx

I have to admit it hasn't been easy. I have been a wreck. Has been even harder with my sister being pregnant with twins.

When I got my results for my FSH and it was high, I cried for days. The next month I was away do couldn't redo it. And so the next cd3 I had another test. On Friday I called for results and were told they had come back the same. Well my heart sank. They had sent the forms off anyway to request funding and she told me they were sent to the clinic. I had been there the day before for their open evening which I booked up so I felt like I was getting somewhere. So I called them on the Friday and she had been trying to get hold of me to arrange the start of it all :winkwink: Again I cried lol, but this time happy tears.

I still have a long way to go but I have to say my doc, gyno and H & E have been great so far.

My sister had IVF for her first child so it has been great having her to ask questions. Also I told my boss about it as I had been worrying. He was also great. Turns out one of his children was conceived with IVF. It really os good to talk.

If you want to PM me any time it would be great chatting with someone else going though it all.

What stage are you at now hun?

xx
