fsh & esrodiol levels

i don't think i'll get my blood work results back for a day or two.
in the meantime (and before i start scoping out google) i thought i'd go to the experts...you all!

do you know what the normal/healthy range is for fsh and esrodiol?

It can depend on your age I think....

I am 39 and my fsh have been fine at 8 and 9 the last 2 cycles - for my age ( can't remember the others but they were all fine and dandy!)

i got my results from my GP and then googled them....

I have just started IVF so discussed it with my gyne and he confirmed they were very good for my age...

When will you get your results?

i should get my fsh results by tomorrow. the other, by mid-week.
i think less than 9 is good for fsh, from what i've read.

the cool thing is, all of my test results are available on-line.
the down side, i can't talk to anyone 'till monday.

Before getting too wrapped up in numbers, it is important to know what day in your cycle the blood was drawn, as these numbers vary tremendously throughout the month.

It was day 3.
From what I can tell, FSH around this time should be 9 or lower, and Estrodiol, 80 or lower.

so, good news:

my fsh level is 8.8, and estrodiol is 19.

i believe they said below 10 for fsh is good,
and below 20 for estrodiol is also good.

all is remember is, the nurse said, "it looks great!"

she said that they recommend for women 38+ (i'm 39)
to go in for an ultrasound and get the eggs checked out.

i think i will take that step and see where we're at.
