FTB-First Time Buyer/Saving for a deposit

Hi,

I'm sure there are a few of us in this category. It's such a difficult time lately with the economy and jobs so thought I'd open this to support each other.

I'm 25 years old, starting a new job in September and I'm hoping to save a 15-20% deposit over the next 2-3 years. Oh and I'm planning to buy in Birmingham, UK.
