what the deal with the full moon lark? Is this just an old myth?

the next full moon is on saturday i think, better start bouncing on my ball and let the full moon magic take over! lol

I am in hospital at the moment and last night 5 women came in. The midwife who took my blood told me and she said it always happens around full moon, more women coming in.

Full moons do make a difference, in my job its always known it gets crazy when its a full moon, some people even avoid those nights unless you want over time : )

ooo well ill be 29 weeks on saturday, better get bouncing on my ball then and hope for the best lol

That'll explain my mood then! I always get snappy around a full moon. It controls the tide and we are mostly made up of water afterall!

Right, never heard of this full moon lark, DH has a duty now to perform this weekend to get things moving!

Someone bumped a old thread about this yesterday.

Lol -I'd better NOT tell DH then, I am not getting any at the moment as it is -cos my damn spd and DH is scared of hurting me -aaarggh - I know I should be glad he feels this way, but I am still a woman WITH NEEDS !!!! :haha::haha: And now with my iron levels being low too and us hoping baby waits another 7-10 days at least, he's staying away even more. :haha: Add in the full moon haha -I'll not see him for dust

:haha::haha:

Ive just looked and my son was born the day after the full moon, which means I was in labour on the day of it..how weird!

Im not sure if i beleive in it all, but i'm living in hope! will be very interesting how many babies appear this weekend!

My little boy was born on a full moon when we got to the hospital it was packed! The midwife made a comment about it being a full moon, she said that they always put more staff on when it's a full moon!! Crazy!!

Lol, that made me laugh! :haha:

i hope theres some truth in it because im due on saturday!

Oh no....this is all I need. I want bubs to stay in at least til I get some ML!!!

Have been taking it easy and avoiding the OH in bed ... which is no mean feat lol only to find that nature could have it's way and spoil all my plans.

I've been feeling different the past couple of days. Feet are swelling which they have never done before and today my hip/ thigh area feels so tender and I was thinking maybe it's the pelvic bone spreading? Crossing my fingers it's not!

If I hide in a darkened room will that stop the full moon affecting me?
