Fundus measurements....

What was your fundus measuring at 20weeks... Im measuring 20cm is this correct?

I didn't get mine measured at 20 weeks, but 20cm sounds right your fundus measurement should correspond to the amount of weeks you are, +/- 2cm.. so at 20weeks you would be between 18-22cm.

I was 27cm at my 26week appointment.

When I got to 36 weeks, my fundual high was off the little chart they plot it on in my blue notes. I did keep trying to tell them that Lauren was going to be big, and if my latest scan is anything to go by, so will number 2

Im not sure you can. A midwife/Dr finds the top of your uterus by pushing their hand/ fingers into your belly and they then use a tape measure to the bottom of your uterus.

Dont quote me on this but I think sometimes they do a measurement using the widths of their fingers too above your belly button to the top of your uterus (I think the uterus is at your belly button at 20 weeks so they measure above that for the extra weeks ie 2 fingers = 22 weeks)

Your measurement should be approx. 3cms either side of how many weeks you are...... I think!

However, I was measured last week when I was 25+3 and measured 19cms

So, I wouldn't panic too much if you're out by too much. As long as m/w dr seem to have no problem with it, then I wouldnt worry.
