gained 1 1/2oz in 24hours

ok had callum weighed when he was 2weeks old and hed had a 10oz increase since birth im bf by the way.
Hospital weighed him on thurs and hed had an increase of 11oz in a week so hed already doubled his weight gain from prev weigh in.
well Hv came yesterday almost 24hrs after being weighed at hospital and hed had a 1 1/2 oz increase i canot belive how much weight hes putting on hes now 8lb31/2 oz his birth weight was 6lb10oz.

has anyone elses BF baby gained this much i do feal a little worried as clara never put that much on in a week or is it just a boy thing.

Well Done to you and Callum hun! great weight gain!
Noah used to average out at a lb a week when he was 1st born! mind yu hewas permenantly attached to the boob! lol
No need to worry about it either, its great!
Dont get Oliver weighed till Wed but he did put on 10oz in 5 days when we last had him done.
We must have really good milk xXx

HV said whatever the hell I'm eating/drinking to make this BM keep doing it. I must admit I was quite shocked at Sam's gain too, but so long as HV is happy with it I am, even if he does make my arm ache already..lol

Salimwas breastfed and was gaining anywhere from 8-18oz in a week. It slowed down by the time he got to 8 weeks. He didnt lose weight after birth either.I think its a boy thing personally lol

My little buster is the same he is gaining weight like its going out of fashion! im Cornish and my HV says it must be clotted cream coming out of me baps!! its great that hes gaining well done hon xxx

yeh doc made a comment that i had gold top milk lol
thanks for the reasurance i was just a bit worried as ive looked at claras book and she was only putting about 6oz a week on but aswel shes a girl and i know boys tend to grow quicker and as louis was a preemie he was tube fed so didnt put much weight on till he was about 6weeks so i had nothing to compaire a boy too.
