Our daughter's early days were not good and seems to continue further. After 98 days at NICU/SCBU she would be moving in mother-baby room for a day & later she would be HOME..

Somehow the anxiety and zest is lacking in both of us as we have been told that she is carrier of Galactosemia, a very rare genetic disorder where she is intolerent to galactose. Last week she was diagonised wrongly for lactose intolerence and after some tests it was confirmed that its was Galactosemia.

Praying to cut short this agonysing journey. Would appreciate if any mothers have heard about such a disorder and would share..

I'm sorry to read this. I'm afraid I have not heard of this so can't give you any advice. I hope she is home with you soon :hugs:
