Sorry if this isn't the right place to post it this ~ let me know! :)

I'm having my gallbladder removed on monday. Who has had theirs out? regret it? how long were you out of work? i'm a hairstylist, so flinging around hair dryers , standing all day, etc . my doctor said the norm is 1 week, i've been reading online that people are out for 1 week to 1month!

your thoughts :)

I wasn't working when I got mine out. But the recovery was probably...more like 2 weeks. But I had a c-section 1 month before that so it might have harder on me bc of that.

I also just realized you asked...did I regret it?

NO WAY! I was having recurring gallbladder attacks. I didn't even get to enjoy my baby shower.

I have had mine removed, I don't regret it at all, anything is better than that pain!

I was off work for 3 weeks. I work with special needs and was fine.

I had mine removed 2 weeks ago and don't regret it at all. I'm a stay a home mum at the moment and was back to doing house work (no hoovering just washing up, putting washing away, tiding etc) 2 days after slowly but manageable. Hope it all goes well for you and you wont look back!

Had mine out in Dec 2011, don't regret it one bit.
